CappsNC can make adjustments based on data from on-machine measurements with a bi-directional interface. A bi-directional closed loop interface can send data to CappsNC as well as receive data from CappsNC. CappsNC creates G-Code programs for probing routines. G-Code is much quicker and easier to post to the CNC machine tool when using a bi-directional interface.
For older CNC machine controllers that do not have live interface capability, or sometimes when the customer prefers, CappsNC can operate in FILE server mode to upload files to the controller through a Windows Explorer™ like interface.
